Absorptive Silencers
Absorptive Silencers provide broadband attenuation of all
industrial noises, with a high acoustic performance on
medium and high frequency bands.
Absorptive silencers can also be used at the suction or discharge side of centrifugal compressors and blowers to reduce the noise radiated by piping networks. In that case, silencers are generally designed according to major international standards as complete pressure vessels.

Reactive Engine Silencers
Reactive Engine Silencers/snubber are specifically designed to
provide ideal noise reduction of reciprocating engine exhaust
gas and are available in six grades.
Burgess-Manning’s reactive engine silencer is designed to allow gas to flow through an arrangement of ported tubes and chambers, which attenuates the noise over specific frequency range.

Vent Silencers reduce the high noise levels
generated when pressurized gases are vented to
the atmosphere. The design incorporates an
engineered diffuser for gas expansion and noise
control, with optional acoustic baffles available for
additional sound attenuation when required.
Suitable for steam, natural gas, air, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, and other compressed gases, Vent Silencers are used on relief valves, safety valves, control valves, blowdown systems, and vent stacks across power generation, oil & gas, chemical, and industrial facilities. Water Separator/Silencer
Water Separator/Silencer design removes entrained liquid from air in
a vacuum system while providing noise reduction. Gas flow passes
through a ported tube and snubbing chamber, which attenuates the
noise over a wide frequency range. Simultaneously, 99% of the free
liquid is removed centrifugally in the separation section.
